Down the Road Farm is a small, sustainably managed, specialty cut flower farm in New Lexington, Ohio serving Lancaster and southeast Ohio with fresh cut flower bouquets and unique floral designs. You’ll find sunflowers, zinnias, lisianthus, snapdragons, rudbeckia, and more than 40 other varieties of flowers and foliage for purchase as flower bouquet subscriptions, at the Lancaster Farmers Market, Keller Market House, and other local community marketplaces.
Surrounded by the Perry State Forest in the rolling hills of the Hocking Hills region, Down the Road Farm grows a wide variety of high quality, specialty cut flowers and foliage using ecological growing techniques to bring you unique, local, long-lasting blooms.
Growers Lauren and Zack are proud to bring joy through farm fresh flowers – they’re your “grown not flown” flower option. Down the Road uses sustainable practices, harvests flowers fresh just for you, and sells everything locally, bringing you the perfect win-win: flowers with a long vase life and small environmental footprint.
In addition to fresh cut flower bouquets, flower bouquet subscriptions, and flowers for wedding and event special orders, they grow tomatoes, garlic, ground cherries, and strawberries using ecological practices, and, make hand-crafted soap using clean, simple ingredients.
DIY and farm-style wedding and event options and custom design services are also offered.
