Sip & Shop in Somerset

The village of Somerset has a lively collection of shops and restaurants – it’s a place you’ll want to return to and share with friends – there’s always something new to experience. The historic, small-town streetscape will remind you of a time when life was slower, simpler and very friendly.

You’ll find regional artists’ creations at the Somerset Artists Co-Op, cowboy boots and western wear at (Mid)Western Second Hand, unique crystals, candles and gifts at Gypsy Hawaii, and china, paintings, books and more at Somerset Art & Antiques.

Somerset is home to an unusual roundabout where vehicles entering the roundabout have the right-of-way. That’s pretty much the opposite of how it works everywhere else so be prepared. You can even find a humorous commemorative t-shirt celebrating your Somerset Roundabout Adventure at (Mid)Western Second Hand.

Take a break from your shopping to enjoy some wonderful food from local chefs who bring skills from house-smoked meats to French cuisine, gelato to German favorites – there’s something for everyone.

Park once and wander the streets to find fun around every corner. Here’s the round-up of places to experience. Fair warning – it’s pretty hard to get it all in one day – feel free to come back again and again!
