The Clay Haus restaurant is in an original building from the very early 1800s. Located right on Route 22, the Zane Trace Trail, you can imagine settlers passing by in covered wagons on their way between Lancaster and Zanesville.

Enjoy fine German and American cuisine, Prime Rib Saturday, refreshing cocktails in the basement Rathskeller and a lovely selection of beer and wine.

Reservations are welcome by calling (740) 743-1326.

And don’t forget to ask about the ghosts.  10TV WBNS did some investigating in this report.
