Fold formed copper 1 – earrings with Cathy $30 ages 16 and up

This first course is good for beginners or those who want to expand their jewelry making techniques. We will learn what fold forming is and how to make the first basic fold, starting with annealing the metal with a torch. From there, we will use hammers, steel blocks, daps, stamps, and other tools to create 2 pairs of earrings, including the sterling silver ear wires. Students who complete Fold Form 1 will be eligible to take Fold Form 2, where we will build on the basics by adding a T Fold and make a copper cuff bracelet.
