Perry Backwoods is a family-owned campground, built personally by the ownership and team from the ground up. We are excited about the improvements and additions we make as time goes on. We consider our campers family, and look forward to growing together!
Perry Backwoods has 9 acres of campsites and wooded paths leading directly into the Perry State Forest riding trails. No need to trailer and drive – you can ride straight from the campgrounds into the riding trails on your APV!
There are currently 6 full hook-up campsites, and the remainder are primitive. No neat lines of tiny corporate spots here – your campsite will be beautiful and roomy. Bathrooms, water, and a dumping station are available.
If you are looking for Jeep or horse trails, you will find them just a few miles down the road. New Lexington is a short ten-minute drive from the campground where you can replenish supplies.
