WHAT WE AIM TO DO
The Shawnee Trail Town Network is a group of non-profit and local government entities helping build an experience-based economy in the Little Cities of Black Diamonds region.
Together we host workshops, historical and ecotours, festivals, volunteer opportunities, and celebrations of the arts. We collaborate to show off where nature and history meet in Shawnee. We are fortunate here in Southeast Ohio to have such rich natural and historical resources at our fingertips. You might say we are poised to flip the script on resource extraction as we move towards an experience economy—where the memories are what we take away. In that regard, we take care to acknowledge and do better by those who have come before us—and to leave Shawnee better than we found it for generations after.
