Nestled in the rolling foothills of Appalachia just outside of Somerset, Ohio, Fern Hollow Farm is a regenerative permaculture farm, gathering space, and community hub rooted in land stewardship, ecological design, and meaningful connection. Established on family land in 2015, the farm has transformed previously fallow farmland into a thriving landscape of forest gardens, orchards, vineyards, market gardens, medicinal herbs, pollinator habitat, and educational spaces.

Fern Hollow offers visitors an immersive experience of Appalachian farm life through seasonal farm-to-table dinners, retreats, workshops, permaculture education, wellness gatherings, and community events. Guests can wander meadows filled with wildflowers, explore wooded walking trails, enjoy views of the surrounding hills, and experience a slower rhythm centered around food, creativity, and connection to the natural world.

The farm is also home to Provecho Farm Kitchen, Fern Hollow’s culinary and catering branch, which highlights seasonal ingredients and local agriculture through thoughtfully prepared meals and gatherings. Beyond hospitality, Fern Hollow serves as a living classroom for regenerative agriculture and resilient community design, hosting educational programs and collaborative events throughout the year.

Rooted in the ethics of earth care, people care, and fair share, Fern Hollow Farm invites visitors to experience a place where agriculture, creativity, education, and community come together in the heart of rural Ohio.
